Our next audition is for Americana: In Perspective on February 16^th, 2002

Americana: In Perspective presents the story of American music, from pre-colonial through the end of the 19th century, combining contemporary arrangements of popular songs with insightful narrative. We will celebrate our nation's diversity as we stir the American melting-pot.

Participating in a KCS concert project is an exciting and educational choral experience. In addition to cutting-edge choral performances, you will participate in CD and Video production projects. You will hone your performance skills to a new edge. Bring nothing but your wits and talent to the audition. We will provide everything else you need. Audition songs for this project are your choice of Yankee Doodle, America the Beautiful, or Shenandoah.

Your time commitment -- a one-day retreat, a weekly rehearsal, a press concert, dress rehearsal and three performances -- is a small investment for an experience that will last a lifetime.

There are no fees of any sort to participate in this project All music will be provided Rehearsals are 7-9:30pm on Sunday evenings We will pay you up to $200 (20 cents per paying audience member, $25 guaranteed minimum) Concert attire will be evening gowns & tuxedos Attendance is required at all of the following events
