"The human voice is the most flexible instrument known to man; capable of touching the soul as loudly as it does the ear."

-- R E Grove

Imagine, in a city rich in choral traditions, a performing group that reaches out to the novice, leading them to a discovery of our diverse musical heritage; a group combining the finest vocal skills with contemporary stage techniques, whose diversity of sound and style is capable of both thrilling the connoisseur and entertaining the layman.

The Kansas City Singers is a professional 16-voice chorus performing contemporary arrangements of classical, folk and early American music.

"You should be very proud of the performance and the arrangements of the music. I'm not sure what you fed to that group of people on stage but it worked beautifully. It was evident that they were genuinely excited to perform and they made it look effortless. Overall, the show was one of the smoothest and most enjoyable productions I've seen in KC over the last year. I'm looking forward to the next concert." -- James O Harlow

"My compliments to your ensemble! They have a great sound and are a great bunch of people to work with." -- Ronald D Mundt (Director, Heart of America Wind Symphony)

"Each one involved can really be proud of what they gave the audience . . . singers and non-singers and arrangers. Thank you all for a highly memorable and enjoyable evening." -- Jim Worts

"I attended the concert on Friday night with other friends. I have to honestly tell you that I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. The theatrics and history that was added made it more of a show and I really identified with that part of it. I look forward to attending more performances by this group and will be telling people about it!" -- Cari D Chretien

"That was a terrific concert by the KC Singers on Sunday afternoon. I was really impressed by the quality of the performance and the hard work that went into the preparation of it." -- Carol Hamilton

"The singing was excellent! Also, the group has fun while performing." -- Jim & Nancey Spaith

"Fabulous concert. Fun. Lots of talent here." -- Patricia R Payne

"Really enjoyed the concert and felt a sense of true sincerity in the singer's performance." -- Cathy DeKnight

"Sophisticated, yet light. Loved the music, the arrangements, the speeches." -- M Benson
